Drug Calculations Databases

These may be opened either from the main menu or test creator. Generally, these should not be messed with unless there is an intention to add additional items. The database files have the prefix DB, file extension DAT and reside in the application directory.

All three databases have a list box panel on the left which displays the list of available items. Once selected they can be edited or deleted by clicking on the appropriate button. Each database is separate, so clicking on SAVE will only save the currently selected database and not affect the others

The abbreviations database is used to generate questions about abbreviations. Click CLEAR to clear the fields and enter the abbreviation, definition and select an appropriate class. ADD will add the fields to the database and EDIT will amend the selected item in the list box.
